Our Material Range
PLA (Polylactic Acid)
- Description: PLA is a biodegradable filament made from renewable plant resources (e.g. corn, sugarcane).
- Advantages:
- Easy to print, even for beginners
- Low warping and good layer adhesion.
- Bright colors, glossy finish — ideal for decorative pieces, prototypes, models.
- Environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
- Best For: Prototypes, decorative parts, educational models, concept modeling, mockups for clients.
- Limitations: Lower heat resistance (softens ≈ 50-60 °C), less suitable for mechanical parts under stress/heat.
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified)
- Description: PETG blends the ease of printing of PLA with stronger mechanical properties — toughness, chemical resistance, low moisture absorption.
- Advantages:
- Strong, durable, water-resistant, and dimensionally stable.
- Good layer adhesion, minimal warping; easier to print than ABS.
- Some variants (e.g. PETG-CF from CC3D) offer higher rigidity and surface quality, suitable for functional parts
- Best For: Functional parts, containers, mechanical components, outdoor or moisture-exposed parts, 3D-printed packaging prototypes, industrial use, bottles/enclosures.
- Note: May require printing at slightly higher temperatures; moisture control is recommended for best results.
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
- Description: A classic filament for strong, durable mechanical parts requiring higher heat and impact resistance
- Advantages:
- High impact strength, durability, better temperature resistance than PLA.
- Good for functional parts, enclosures, automotive/industrial prototypes.
- Best For: Mechanical components, functional prototypes, housings, tooling, parts exposed to heat or mechanical stress.
- Requirements: Usually needs a heated print bed; better printing in an enclosed chamber to reduce warping.
TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)
- Description: A flexible, rubber-like filament offering elasticity, high impact resistance, and abrasion resistance.
- Advantages:
- Highly flexible and resilient — ideal for flexible parts.
- Resistant to wear, shock, and suitable for dynamic parts (e.g. seals, gaskets, protective casings, flexible joints).
- Best For: Flexible components (phone cases, gaskets, wearable objects, protective covers), parts requiring shock absorption or elasticity.
- Note: Printing TPU requires proper printer setup (e.g. direct-drive extruder) for best results.
